Oatmeal Cookies

Luciana’s recipe for oatmeal cookies


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup oat bran & wheat bran
1 cup light brown sugar
1 stick butter, slightly melted
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanila extract
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp milk
1 1/4 cup flour
flax seed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit


Melt butter and mix in brown sugar with a whisk


In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients


Fold in the dry ingredients with the wet, and mix well


Mold the dough into little balls depending on your size preference for the cookies


Place the dough balls onto a greased baking sheet, and squish the middle of each ball to flatten the top


Sprinkle a pinch of flax seed on each dough ball before baking


Bake for 8-10 minutes or until light brown


Let cool for 2-5 minutes before enjoying
