Moist Chocolate Cake

Luciana’s recipe for moist chocolate cake


Ingredients

2 cups cake flour (Presto)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit


Mix the mayo and sugar until smooth


In another bowl, mix and sift flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder


Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet, adding water as you go


Mix in vanilla extract


Pour batter into greased/lined pan


Bake for 40-50 mins, or 12-15 mins for cupcakes


Set aside to cool before enjoying
